During the month of March, particularly in Valencia, The San José’s Fallas are held. Nighttime parades are expected during this month, there is a processin in Valencia presenting flowers to Nuestra Señora de los Desamparados or Our Lady of the Forsaken; patrones of the city and their well-known Nit del Foc in English Night of the Fire. They call it Night of the Fire since there is a burning session of beautiful and witty scenes composed by cardboard figures.

Feria de Abril or April Fair has been popularly commemorated every month of April after Holy Week. In Sevilla, Andalucia this festivity is embraced with the opening of the Seville Fair, dancing Flamencos, during the evening and night.

In Alicante people celebrate The Moors and Christian festivity that has its origin during the 17th century. Local people disguise as Moors and Christians and go around the town.
