Spain will be dressed again with the lovely colors associated with St. Valentine’s Day. The Spanish streets will be graced again by stalls full of bouquets of red flowers. The rose is a perennial favorite of not only the courting men but also the devoted husbands.
The country celebrates Valentine’s Day the same way other countries do. The exchanging of gifts and candle lit dinners are two of the most old fashioned ways of being cute and romantic during the day of hearts.
Expect the streets of most Spanish cities to be blossoming not only with all different kinds of flowers fresh from the gardens but of tourist getting the hang of Spanish Valentines.
Here are some ways of celebrating Valentine’s Day in Spain.
-
Well, traditional candle lit dinner with a romantic backdrop and music background is an old fashion and yet the most “in” way of celebrating the day of the hearts. Expect that luxury hotels are fully booked on this day. So book in advance.
- Valentine’s Party is everywhere during this day. From luxury hotels, to pensions, bars and restaurants. Everybody would just be glad to spread love on this day. Lovers and friends would be partying from the most elaborate parties to a simple tea get together parties with chocolate pastries for everybody. Fiery and fun travel vacations are just a right blend for this Spanish Celebration.
-
Asking what city to go to during the celebration? Every Spanish City is unique on their celebration. Madrid would lavish so much on concerts and luxury hotels celebration. San Sebastian would a little bit on the decoration side but it is never left out of the celebration. Pintxos bars would be rocking with fun. Barcelona will be flowing with vintage wine besides the flowers, cards and gifts.
Spain’s celebration of Valentine’s Day is as elaborate as the other countries. It may not be considered as a Spanish Celebration yet Spain won’t be left out by such World Wide celebration.

Spain is so much a beautiful country in its diversity. Yet, there are still little things that we love to know and visit if only we knew them. I will try to give details for a more satisfying travel to Spain.
Let us start this with news about a $699 base price for January travel to Spain. Indeed Espana is a cheaper place to stay compared form home! Great Sales for Costa del Sol Vacation! Low cost prices for January to March travel to Spain are for the grabs, according to this article I read. So if you are planning for a vacation after the New Year then this is the great chance to visit the interesting places I discovered here.
Barcelona. Barcelona has great places to go through. Yet, here are little restaurants that offer mouth watering food that would really leave you dreaming and coming back for another serving. That is indeed true. I stumbled upon it when a friend of mine invited me to dine there. Rabbit with garlic, chicken, goat meat, grilled vegetable and steak are served in this minute little Barcelonian Restaurant that way off the beaten tourist track.
Murcia. This place is quite popular with self-accommodating villas that make you save for several hundred dollars. Questions of food supplies and transportation on this place are not really a problem. So now staying for a week or two is like staying home with expenses cut down low with brain blowing activities or with quiet activities in middle of week.
San Sebastian. A place toured by Ann Olson, A famous personality on the Food Network in 2004. Ahe commented that tapas are one of the many attractions in San Sebastian. Great food and great cuisine in one great city!
Burgos. This place is rarely mentioned in written blogs yet picture blogs of this place in Spain are many. One article caught my attention with show the changing coors of the trees in Spain as Fall once again visits the place. Red and yellow foliage now slowly dressed this Spanish street. Burgos also has its own share of architecture and history that one tourist can get interested in.

The “www.travelguidesdirectory.com’ is their secret weapon. You can not ask for more with this travel website. Every little necessary detail you are looking for in you perfect visit to Spain is here.
Just the right information for someone new to the Spanish land; though aficionado also refers to it frequently than you thought.
The web home page has listed concept necessary in understanding even a glimpse of the political division of the Spanish land. Spain in this page is divided into cities, island and coast. So even if you don’t have any idea what to expect in your visit of Spain; this page can give you one. If you are looking for beaches (well we always do look for Spain’s sun-kissed beaches) then you can find the best choices right away.
Try to open one of the islands like for example; Ibiza; a little over all look is given and a link is given for a more detailed description. Attractions and places of interest for the tourist are also written down for more comprehensive information.
The website ‘www.travelguidesdirectory.com’ has been always the travelers’ best friend. It is more than a map. In fact it is more than a directory.
