Residents and tourists celebrate the Feast of San Pedro (St. Peter) on 29th of June. Locales commemorates this day with processions and parties. Dancers and tambourine players line the street and showing off their glee while parading figures and pictures of Saint Peter. Picayos, Comillas' very own type of dancing, is one of the prominent attractions of the town.
Another must-see activity is the Ramales de la Victoria Verbena del Mantón, a dancing contest where women wear "mantones" or embroidered silk shawls moving like colorful waves as they dance.
The town, being a valued fishing port, economic and tourism wise, pays tribute to the great blessing of the sea. A thanksgiving tribute is given to Santo Cristo del Amparo (Christ of Amparo) during his feast on 16th of July.
