TRAVEL GUIDES DIRECTORY: COSTA TROPICAL SPAIN SALOBREÑA

BEACHES

Travel Guides Directory: Costa Tropical Spain Salobreña Salobreña has eight kilometers of coastline. About half of which is made up of the popular beaches. All these beaches are within easy reach of the town and attract a large number of summer visitors. To the west of Salobreña , the coastline is peppered with small coves and beaches where access is more difficult because of the high cliffs.

El Cambron Beach is a small beach with a size of 86 meters and an average width of 21 meters. It is close to the urbanized zone of Torre del Cambrón , but the access is quite difficult. One can get there only by walking, and it does not provide any type of service. It is rarely visited by people so it is a good place to relax and unwind. The beach s surface is characterized by middle gray sand with pebbles.

El Caleton Beach is another small beach with a size of 30 meters and an average width of 10 meters. It is a natural beach so it does not provide any service. Access is much easier though, because one can get there by car or by walking. It is a place best suited for relaxation, diving, and fishing with a cane. The surface is fine gray sand with pebbles and the surf is very calm.

La Guardia Beach is a wild and extensive beach with small bays that are good for diving and sunbathing. Aside from its extensiveness, the beach is surrounded by tropical fruits and other agricultural cultures.

La Charca Beach is another extensive and relatively wide beach, with familiar ambience and good services. It is a very good beach to enjoy a day with the whole family. It is also called Solamar Beach .

Playa Salobrena Beach is also known as La Cagadilla beach . It is a long and narrow stripe of fine gray sand and pebbles, along a zone of fruit and crop plantations. It is a medium-sized beach with an average width of 30 meters and a size of 1200 meters. This beach can be easily accessed by walking, and has a diving zone. Though Playa Salobreña does not offer any type of service, it is great for diving and fishing.
