TRAVEL GUIDES DIRECTORY: COSTA VERDE SPAIN

NIGHTLIFE

La Caverna

Situated in the old part of the city of Oviedo , in the pedestrian friendly zone that is also a popular clubbing area, one of the liveliest in fact. Great bars serving great pop drinks and cocktails line the streets. Deejays spin the hottest music, as it thumps out powerfully from the latest equipment.

Danny's Jazz Bar

Calle La Luna. Located north of the old city, this jazz bar is a great place for unwinding, for conversations on the day events while listening to laid-back jazz. The ambience is relaxing, making it a great place to meet old friends or even new ones. There s live music at least once a week.

La Santa Sebe

Calle Altamirano. Perfectly sited in the old city, this popular dance club is the best place in town for some serious dancing. Locals come to pose and flirt and you can just dance till the wee hours of morning. The dance music that churns out from this part of the party is a good mixture, making sure that you ll have a good, wild time.

El Porche

C/ Postigo Alto, 5 Oviedo. This cozy Cuban bar is a genuine place -- it was the first in Oviedo to get involved in this kind of music and ambience. El Porche has the cheapest shots, but don't get carried away for you have a hill to traverse down to Oviedo . As it is small it is almost always crowded. Good on weekends from 1-6 a.m., enjoy salsa, merenque and pachanga here.
