It used to be an old house from the 18 th century, but in February 18, 2000, the El Museo Etnografico Tanit was established as a museum. The museum is made up of an exhibition gallery, a chapel, an old beam press, craft shop, market garden, a caf with a lovely terrace, and a dance floor.

Also from the 18 th century is the old grand house, La Casa de La Cultura Ajei . Here one can see all the tools and materials that were used by Canarian farmers. This cultural center is open Monday to Friday from 5pm to 10pm.

The house contains a museum, bar, restaurant, shop, workshops and a craft museum, and a display pf the possessions and belongings of the earlier inhabitants of the island.
