TRAVEL GUIDES DIRECTORY: MALLORCA SPAIN: ALCUDIA
NIGHTLIFE
Alcudia is not at all a loud resort in the sense that it is not an ideal place for serious clubbers. Evening entertainment here is mainly hotel based (ranging form flamenco dancers and comedians). However, the resort does have a small number of late night bars and nightclubs.
Alcudia does have a very active club called The Son Toni Stompers that offers LINE DANCING as a source of entertainment. They meet on a Friday evening at the Casa Cultura in town from 7.30pm to around 10.30pm. For more information contact either Bill or Veronica Griffith
Menta is Alcudia's biggest and most popular nightclub with two DJ's, seven bars, and even its own indoor swimming pool. The club first opened in the town back in 1982, and today plays a mixture of Spanish and disco music, appealing to the fashionable 18-30 age group. The drinks are expensive, but their club sandwiches are highly recommended.
Bells has more of a Spanish feel to it and is very popular with the locals, especially at weekends
Apoteket is a very popular late night music bar in Puerto Alcudia which plays a varied selection of the latest music. Opening hours are from 10pm until very early the following morning.
