TRAVEL GUIDES DIRECTORY: MENORCA SPAIN MAHÓN

BEACHES

Travel Guides Directory: Menorca Spain Mahón Mahón is not the beach capital of Menorca but this does not mean that it has no beautiful coastlines. In fact, the town offers several modern beach amenities. Its few beaches also serve as quarters for the best shopping areas, accommodations, and nightclubs. The closest beaches for swimming are those at Es Grau and Cala Mesquida.

Arenal d'en Castell

Found in the northeast part of the island, Arenal d'en Castell has crystalline seawaters that entice the tourist to take a relaxing dip. The gently sloping shores of this beach forms a semi-circle, making Arenal d' en Castell truly unique. The beach also has contemporary amenities to complete any beach getaway.

Son Bou

Son Bou is actually Menorca's longest beach, and is located on the southwestern part of the island. This coast is very popular and there are also bars, restaurants, watersports and lifeguards on the whole stretch of the beach. It can be really crowded especially during the summer season. Nonetheless, finding a good spot to bask in the sun is never a problem due to the sheer length of the beach.

Son Parc

Son Parc is medium sized beach that is ideal for family outings due to its not so deep waters and fine sand dunes. There is also a good range of restaurants along the coast and a golf course is also just nearby.

Cala en Porter

Cala en Porter is one tough beach to reach. Yet, this is one of the busiest coasts on the island, in the company of plenty of fabulous beach bars. This is also a favorite beach for water sports enthusiasts. In addition, restaurants and shops are crowded together, in close proximity to the resort.

Cala Trebaluger

Cala Trebaluger has a tree lined cove, fine white sand and magnificent turquoise waters but in spite of its splendor, it is seldom visited by people, making it a good Menorcan secret. It is in fact a secluded beach to be found at the southern part of Menorca, just at the east of Cala Galdana. We suggest you go explore this secret now!
